Michael is the first person outside of the Roy family to own the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home. He has been a licensed funeral director in Massachusetts since 1997 and has worked at the funeral home since 1994. Michael is a graduate of Mount Ida College in Newton, MA and St. Peter-Marian High School in Worcester. Michael is the past President and current board member of  the Webster Square Business Association, past President and a member of the Harmony Club of Worcester, past President and current board member for the Guild of St. Agnes and volunteers for many various non profits.  Michael currently lives in Holden with his wife Heidi and their three children Robert, Delia and Claire.

Alfred is the fourth generation of the Roy Family to be a funeral director. It was his great grandfather who first opened the funeral home in the 1880's. Alfred is now semi-retired and he and his wife Janice spends much of their time with family as well as doing consultation work for the funeral home. Alfred graduated from the New England Institute of Funeral Services and has been a licensed funeral director in Massachusetts since 1963. He grew up in Worcester and graduated from South High School.
